It is good looking and the Kelly blue is the perfect color, it matches the drapes and the piping on the duvet cover.The headboard arrived with part of the back cover and underlying wood damaged. We repaired it with Gorilla tape so it will won't get worse and no one will ever see it, but it was a tiny disappointing. The fabric is a gorgeous taupe leaning toward gray. The headboard looks rich and will work in a formal or informal room. The one major negative is that we have a wall-hugger adjustable bed. In order to raise the head of the bed, the headboard has to have plenty of clearance above the mattress. The legs are barely long enough. Because the headboard is attached to the bed frame so low on the legs, the headboard is wobbly. We're going to figure out the best way to connect the headboard to the wall so it can't tip as far forward toward the bed. If you don't have an adjustable bed, go for it! Except for the minor shipping damage and adjustable complication, this would be a solid 5 star rave review.Love it! It’s exactly what I hoped for!I love the sturdiness and the height but the color that I received is greige not linen or taupe.. Linen and taupe are lighter where as griege is darker. I do like it but I had to change my entire room.Primary bedroom headboard.. doesn’t attach to the 14” metal bed frame from Zinus I ordered with it, but stays put!I'm rating the color description as a 3 star but the quality of the headboard construction and durable fabric for the price is actually a pretty good deal.I love the height of the headboard, and as you can see by the photos a "TAUPE" color is in my wallpaper and my Andrew Wyeth (Master Bedroom) print so I chose Taupe over Wheat (that I thought would be WAY too light) because, on my computer screen, I preferred the darker, richer, GREIGE tone. Ironically (in the photo) my sheets were labeled as "taupe" and my lampshade is considered taupe.I'm an artist and I know that taupe refers to a broad range of "greige" colors but this headboard has so much BLUE in it that if I were the manufacturer, I would NEVER have called it anything but GRAY! Or GREY!So...if you are looking for a GRAY or GREY headboard...this one is good for the money. But if you are looking for a Taupe (Taupe is a vague color term which may refer to almost any grayish brown or brownish gray, but true taupe is difficult to pinpoint as brown or gray.) there is absolutely No BROWN in this fabric! Only GREY GRAY GREY GRAY GREY GRAY GREY GRAY GREY GRAY GREY GRAY GREY GRAY GREY!The color of this taupe headboard is much more beige than taupe, as others have said, which is what I was counting on. It is a sturdy, very good quality piece for the price and for the king size. I have it mounted to my wall because we have an adjustable bed, but it did NOT come with the mounting hardware. Overall I love this! It's a great neutral and is beautiful in my bedroom!Super sturdy and beautiful. Definitely worth the money.
